GPS staff attendance that checks where people really are
Each branch has a GPS point and a radius you choose. When someone taps Clock in, the app measures how far their phone is from the branch. Outside the area, the clock-in is refused and they’re told exactly how far away they are. It replaces sign-in books, fingerprint queues and attendance spreadsheets.
- Location is checked only at clock-in and clock-out. Nobody is tracked during the day.
- Weak GPS signals are rejected instead of guessed.
- Lateness is worked out from each person’s schedule and grace period.
- Staff write a short report of their day when they clock out.

Generate the month’s payroll in naira from salaries, allowances, overtime and deductions such as pension. Joiners and leavers are prorated automatically, and anything odd, like a missing clock-out or no salary on record, is flagged before you approve.

What is Trovina HRMS?
Trovina HRMS is an HR management system (HRMS) that brings staff attendance, leave, payroll, payslips and employee records into one web app. It is built for businesses with more than one branch.
Is it suitable for small and medium-sized businesses?
Yes. It is designed for growing businesses, from a single office to many branches, that want to move HR and payroll off spreadsheets and paper.
Do staff need to download an app?
No. It opens in the browser on any smartphone or computer. Staff can add a shortcut to their home screen so it feels like an app.
Does clocking in use much data?
Very little. A clock-in sends a location and a time, which is a tiny amount of data compared with sending a photo in a chat.
Can people fake their location?
Location-spoofing apps can mislead any GPS-based system, so we don’t pretend otherwise. The app rejects weak or imprecise GPS readings, records every refused attempt with its distance, and gives you reports to spot patterns quickly.
What if someone works off-site for a day?
They submit a correction request with a reason, and their manager approves or rejects it. Both are kept in the record.
Does the payroll software handle pension and other deductions?
Yes. Pension (8% of basic) is set up by default, and you can add other deductions as percentages or fixed amounts. Tell us how you handle income tax today and we’ll set payroll up to match.
